the bisque has cream in it
just add a little milk to your regular tomato soup, and it should be fine

@katyanadia Thanks that helps to know. Now i feel ready to give this a try:) looks so yummy!
@myjhola Thanks! now that i know possible substitutes i will definately give this a try! i cannot wait to try it !
@ilselpz As suggested by @katyanadia, ghee is a sort of melted butter. Clarified butter, in fact. So you could use that or just a plain, flavorless oil such as canola or rice bran. Asafetida or hing can be substituted with garlic powder or a smashed clove of garlic or omitted altogether, even. Nothing like using the real thing though!
looks so good
Ghee is just melted butter. And asofedia is also called HING. Its very strong. Its like garlic powder basically, tastes similar.
I am a vegetarian and this soup looks soo yummy! I would love to make it but I have no clue what asofeida (sorry I probably spelled it wrong ) is? What can I substitute it for? Also ghee? Substitute for that ? Thanks great video

Thank you,try it and let us know how it turns out!

Bisque is a seafood soup, the name comes from Bay of Biscay, off the Iberian peninsular. Tomato bisque is a Portuguese variation, adding tomatoes and is much spicier than the French version.
Just add regular tomato soup and a little milk. Most canned tomato bisque soup is just regular tomato soup with some tomato bits in it to make it thicker. In shepherd’s pie you won’t be able to tell the difference. Some recipes use catsup!
