Question by mich: Easy spaghetti recipe with beans, tomatoes, and spinach?
I have a few ingredients I want to use up for tonight’s dinner.
I have 1/2 box of spaghetti and a full box of penne pasta;
I have a can of black-eyed peas, a can of chili beans in mild sauce, a jar of “four cheese tomato pasta sauce”; I also have a half a bag of spinach, and I a small bunch of tomatoes.
I’ve never cooked with chili beans or blackeyed peas, so I have no idea what would work.
Any ideas??
Thanks!

I would say to first cook the pasta. Then in a separate skillet, wilt the spinach (chopped). In a pot, heat the sauce over medium heat. Add to the sauce some diced tomatoes and some of the canned black-eyed peas (drained). Mix in the wilted spinach and then add the cooked pasta.
(PS: Canned foods are already cooked, all they have to be is reheated, which is optional.
