Question by LiMoBeNu: What do you serve with pasta salad?
I make a simple pasta salad using tri-color pasta, diced tomatoes and diced cucumbers. I use some homemade Italian dressing for the “sauce”. Sometimes I add black olives, onion, or bell peppers, but I like the simplest way the best. However, I want to serve this as a main dish so I am adding chicken to it. If I serve it as a main dish, what do I have with it? It’s already got the carbs from the pasta and protein from the chicken. There are veggies in it as well. What else is there that would work well with it? My first thought was garlic bread, but with pasta, I thought it might not work well. Any ideas? Thanks!
