Question by juan: what sides would you recommend eating with tomato soup?
I’m feeling like eating tomato soup but i don’t have the things to make a grilled cheese sandwich to eat with the soup. What other sides go good with tomato soup?

Macaroni and cheese — same basic thing as grilled cheese sammich.

Grilled cheese, cracks, cheese blocks, any sandwich really.

Cut up a couple slices of bread into small cubes.Heat a frying pan to medium. Add a tablespoon of butter or oil to the heated pan and put the bread in.Turn the cubes of bread over when they are browned Brown the other side,you might need to add a little more butter to the pan.top your tomato soup with your home made croutons. Delicious..And so easy.

-Mozzarella, Basil and Tomato Bruschetta
—————————————————————–4 pieces whole grain bread, crust removed and cut in to circles…one pint cherry tomatoes…4-8 ounces Mozzarella cheese…handful fresh basil, sliced thinly…garlic salt to tastes..black pepper to taste/..garlic oil or olive oil…Preheat oven to 400 with rack in the center of oven. Toss cherry tomatoes with olive oil, garlic salt & pepper. Roast tomatoes for about 20 minutes or until the skins have popped and the tomatoes are softened.Set broiler to low heat. Brush a light later of garlic oil or olive oil on bread. Toast bread about 2 minutes on each side. Remove from oven. Top each toasted bread round with about 6 tomatoes. Press a round of cheese (1-2 ounces) gently on top of the tomatoes. Broil for about 6-8 minutes or until the cheese is melted and lightly browned. towards the end of cook time that your grilled cheese does not burn.

croutons, day old bread cut into cubes and grilled with some olive oil, anything that will mop up the soup, biscuit sticks, etc
Try crackers. I like the saltine ones with tomato soup.
I have to love it that Olivia gives you, basically, a recipe for a grilled cheese sandwich!
I like it fine with just crackers or chips.
I like to make a meat loaf and top it with tomato soup for the last 15 minutes of cooking. I serve peas with it and mashed potatoe and use the tomato soup as a gravy.
