Question by SunnyState23: Ideas for pasta?
I’m trying to think of what to do with these ingredients for dinner tonight. I’m going to be making spaghetti with sauce and meat, but am looking for different/creative ways.
This is what I have:
Thin spaghetti
1/2 jar of prepared pasta sauce
1 lb of ground turkey
2 large cans of diced fire-roasted tomatoes
~1 1/2 cups of mozz cheese
I would normally make a casserole, but not with the long spaghetti
Thanks for any ideas!

to answer correctly to your question, you could cook spaghetti, then put them in a caserole ( you could broke them in the middle of they are too long ), then you could cover them with the souce, the tomatoes and the cheese cutted in little cubes. Then put all in your oven and cook for some minutes, untill all the cheese is fused. In italy it’s called oven pasta

HI! I can suggest: buy an onion, chop it and sautee it in olive oil until soft (not brown), mix the turkey in, let it turn brown, add half a glass of white wine (if you have it), let it evaporate by turning the heat up, then turn it down again, add the tomatoes. Then the pasta sauce (if you really need it). Let it cook for like 20-30 minutes on low-medium heat. In the meantime put the water to boil and once it does boil put the spaghetti in, let it cook for 7 minutes, drain it, put it back where you cooked it (without the water of course) and pour the turkey sauce on top of it. Mix the whole thing, serve on a plate and sprinkle mozzarella on top. Sounds like a long procedure but once you do it, you won’t forget it and you’ll love it. PS I don’t know what fire-roasted tomatoes taste like in this recipe, so next time try regular diced tomatoes and you’ll love it even more!
just break your long spaghetti in half and make your casserole girl!!!!!
