I’m making bowtie pasta right now. I don’t really know what kind of things I should put on it.

this is kicking!!, onions thin sliced cucumbers, vinagar, sugar and salt and pepper, simmer till onions are soft about 5 minutes, mix into your noodles and chill.
What do you think? Answer below!
I would make a vinaigrette (oil & vinegar) and add fresh basil, crushed olives, red pepper flakes, and (if you have them) sun-dried tomatoes
“How about a top hat and a pair of spats?”
Saute some garlic in a good quantity of olive oil, add a knob of butter, some crushed red pepper, salt, and pepper, and toss the cooked pasta in it. Add chopped parsley if you’ve got it, and a god handful of grated parmesan.
That can serve as a base and then you can add other ingredients you happen to have on-hand. You could saute spinach, mushrooms, or broccoli florets with the garlic, you could add sun-dried tomatoes or roasted red peppers, capers, olives, etc. Whatever tickles your fancy, with the classic and simple pasta with olive oil and garlic as a base.
grill or pan fry chicken breast and slice a quarter inch thick bite size or so
dredge the pasta in pesto if you have some-not a must but makes it taste sooooo good, or sprinkle liberally with basil
put mushroom soup in a pan and add half a can of half and half or just milk, whole if you have it, salt and pepper to taste and heat up
put chicken on and spoon soup over
enjoy
Mix chopped tomatoes, basil, olive oil, salt and pepper. It’s simple and tastes great.
One of my favorites….tuna…mayo and can peas.

I know this sounds weird but bear with it:
a cu”cumberbun”
an onion “ribbon”
some black olive “buttons”
some italian “dressing”
some broccoli “florals”
a little garlic “perfume”
some cherry tomato “cufflinks”
chopped lobster “tails” or other crustacean like shrimp, craw, crab
…and you have a delicious tuxedo salad!
I boil the pasta almost done drain and stir in a spoonful of butter. A can of cream of chicken soup and a small can (like a tuna can) of chicken, or some chopped up leftover chicken. Stir in the noodles with about 1/2 cup of milk and warm back up. Ready to eat. No one ever complained.
