my mother in law made some tomato soup from the can (campbell’s) and as soon as she put a can of water in it(like she’s always done) it turned black on top??
does anybody have any idea what this could mean or even be? the expiration date was December 14, 2014..

probably expired before its due date; tomatoes are very acidic and in contact with the tin they might’ve got a reaction and turned so darker when cooked
