Question by megj416: How long is Pasta Salad good?
I need to make a pasta salad for a party Sunday afternoon and will not have time to prepare it this weekend so I wanted to make it today (Friday). The ingredients are as follows:
sun dried tomatoes in olive oil
black olives
marinated artichoke hearts
mozzarella cheese
pasta
italian dressing
basil

Thanks for your input. I just don’t want to bring a soggy gross pasta salad to the party!

Oh also there are fresh tomatoes in it (i can leave them out if they will turn bad easy, or just add them sunday)

  3. hi, wat is the variety of these tomotoes? =D NIce aquaponics

  4. Looks good man! Nice green house!

  5. it’ll be fine
    add the tomatoes on sunday
make sure to warm it up, (cold pasta is very good, too)
are you going to refrigerate it? that may make it a bit soggy, but not too much

  6. if you are going to add a dressing make the pasta firmer than you normally would, then when you put in fridge the liquid it soaks up will not make it go too soft.
it will keep 3/4 days in a fridge .
    hope this helps

  7. The italian dressing in your pasta salad is acting as a marinade, so it will actually taste better if you make it early and let it soak in it for a while. Go ahead and make it tonight. It will still be plenty good for Sunday. Just make sure to put it in an airtight container and shake it around or stir it well every once in a while so that the flavor of the dressing is distributed evenly throughout all the ingredients.
