Question by Blair: Why does Heinz Cream of Tomato Soup take longer to microwave than Heinz Ravioli?
(According to the recommended times)
Ravioli is meat rapped in pasta with a soupy sort of sauce so it’s been puzzling me for months why Heinz soup- which is basically the sauce without the ravioli- has a longer recommended microwave time.

Solids are more dense than fluids.
Ravioli is a solid, soup is a fluid.
Microwaves heat food by causing the atoms to vibrate, thus generating heat. The closer the atoms are together (the denser the food), the more-quickly it will heat up.
