Question by Destiny P: What are some ideas for a non-sweet lunch for a kindergarden class?
We are having a Christmas party for a kindergarten class. We can only bring things to prepare in the class, or already made things and open it in the class. We want to do non-sweet lunch and snacks. Anyone have any good ideas? Especially if you can make it Christmas themed!? THANKS!

Bring some carrots! Those are always winners.
Also, you could make finger sandwiches.
Good luck!

God I love salad.
My kindergardener is “student of the day” once a month and I have to send snacks with her -So here is what I have sent:
Fruit snacks – the Sunkist one’s are the healthiest
Raisins & trail mix
Yogurt bites
crackers
Anything can be put in a baggie that’s already festive or you could decorate the baggies. I put some christmas stickers in the Dec treat bags to make them festive.
make snowmen out o f grapes!
Aw, that sounds like it’ll be fun
How about making lil’ Christmas sandwiches?
Use cookie cutters to make bread into trees, ornaments, stars, and presents.
Then spread cream cheese over the bread.
Then use lil’ chopped-up carrots, green celery, green pickles, red peppers, pieces of bologna, cheese, to decorate the sandwiches.
Or how about making lil’ Santa snacks?
Use butter on half bagel, sprinkle cheddar or mozzarella cheese on bottom half (as Santa’s beard) and put on paper towel in the microwave for 20 seconds, place a lil’ tomato in hold of bagel for nose, place cucumber slices as eyes, cut triangle shape red bell paper as his santa hat, and put at top of bagel. There ya go!
Merry Christmas!
