Put the soup in a saucepan over medium heat. Add some milk to it and stir it around and heat it up. Its very good like that. Thats how my mom always used to make it for me. It gives it a really thick creamy texture. And if you want, add some cheese to it too. Yummy!

You can still do it like this, just put it in a microwave safe dish instead. Just be careful not to overheat or it will get a thick skin on the top.

  1. Not sure if you found them, but ‘we sing the body electric!’ and ‘nuclear winter’ are being re-issued, if you’re in the UK they’re available April 29th on Amazon, not sure about the US or anywhere else, probably the same though

  2. drewdude2345, thanks so much for posting all of these. I am sadly one of those who didn’t really know about Lonely Forest until a little before the Arrows release, and I would love to purchase this album. It’s so nice to hear these older songs.

  3. I love them and I wish they still sold this album

  4. I agree with Jessica, use milk and put on medium heat. Stir constantly and heat about 30 seconds at a time when using microwave.

  5. plop the soup in a micro safe container.
    heat slightly
heat required amount of milk slightly
    remove both
gently stir in milk in a thin stream with a good whisk
when everything is throughly incorporated, heat again
enjoy with grilled cheese-bacon, onion and tomato sandwich-or as a pick-me-up by it’s self.

the thing is, to heat both ingredients slightly so they will combine without having glops of soup on the bottom.

    enjoy

  6. I would do as the other posters have answered except I would use heavy cream instead of milk. This will give more texture to the soup and make it thicker and creamier. Top with chives and I think you’ll be happy with the way it turns out. Hope this helps.

  7. Use milk.

  8. I agree with the other answers and I also add a dollop of sour cream to my bowl of tomato soup.
