on my tomato plant im growing it has 2 main stems close together, should i stake them both or just put 1 in the middle of them both???

I prefer to grow tomatoes sprawled on clean mulch– higher yields per plant that way. If you’re going to stake, stake each
stem separately.

You can use a trellis or a wire-ringed basket so you keep the entire plant. Just pinch out the growth at the notches periodically to encourage growth. The fruit comes from growth on the sides of the stems, not in the vee shaped areas. I read that people use an electric toothbrush to gently vibrate the blossoms to they self pollinate more fully. I didn’t do that but did go shake the flowers lightly and got good results this year. Home grown is best.
