Question by hastings.aidan: Can a tomato seedling survive with only one true leaf?
I started growing tomato plants a couple weeks ago, and everything was going great up until today. One of my dogs knocked down a seedling, tearing off half of one of its cotyledons and one of its true leaves. Is there any chance of recovery? Or will the plant not be able to survive?

The growth of that tomato plant will slow down while it regrows the lost leaf, then it will catch up with it’s mate.

You are welcome. In commercial setup, they go round every 2-3 days using vibrator to assist flowers setting fruits. Normally not needed outdoor as the wind and bees will be at work.
thanks so much for sharing your experiences with growing things in your greenhouses. I would have never thought of shaking the tomato plants to assist in pollenation.
gie it a go should live
The plant will keep growing and make a lot more leaves.
