Question by Dalmatica Z: What sort of vegetables do best in upper new england climate?
This is my third year gardening, so far I have grown tomatoes, green beans,cucumbers,green peppers, I would like to broaden my garden and am looking for suggestions or ideas on what would do best.

ANYTHING! Broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, onions, brussel sprouts, potatoes, peas, spinach,etc. I am a native New Yorker.

Don’t forget potatoes and pumpkins and squash. I also grow beets,lettuce, peas and corn. Everything grows here, we just have a shorter season. Lettuce, radishes and onions grow well also.
i live in new jersey and we grow all sorts of peppers…cayan, habinero, jalepeno, anaheim, bell, they all grow great and pablenos! yummy!
