I believed they are called Golomki (at least that’s what the Polish version is called)
Pigs in a blanket where I grew up were hot dogs wrapped in dough. Try searching for Golomki and you will get a lot of hits for recipes

Hi
pie is goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!!!!!
this is the funniest video in the world Sam!!!!!!From Isabella Muniz.from mrs.brouses class at PSE
I thought it was pancakes wrapped around sausage!
I think what you’re looking for is STUFFED CABBAGE or CABBAGE ROLLS.
There are alot of recipes online for stuffed cabbage, you just need to choose which version you like best.
Some people also use the same stuffing for stuffed bell peppers, it’s delicious as well.
Pigs in a blanket are sausages wrapped in a pancake.
You are looking for Halupkies…it’s truly of eastern Euro descent..but when you make it, seriously, aft research, they used alot of pork—–& I did it….recreated that ‘old country’ flavor—the secret is alot of ground pork mixed w/ a lil ground round’…but, you must parboil the cabbage first—–put the head in a huge pot, boil, & take the leaves off one by one…..BUT—aft they cool, before you fill them, take out that hard core part (at the very stem)—last thing you want is ‘hard cabbadge’—-. Meant to say, while the cabbage is cooking, cook the rest—-& it will be absolutely DEVINE!!!! Too bad I don’t know you, cause I’d welcome you to come over & I can show you the process, but I believe you will do fine!
all those above me are correct (but I don’t know what Glomki are, so I’m reserving judgement on that.)
pigs in a blanket are either hot dogs wrapped in dough and then baked, or sausages wrapped in pancakes.
you described cabbage rolls. Good cabbage rolls are delicious, bad ones are horrible.
What you want are stuffed cabbage leaves. Pigs in a blanket are wieners wrapped with a biscuit dough.
I make mine like this….
1. Package of wieners.
2. Can of refrigerated biscuits
3. Uncooked bacon
4. Shredded cheese
Cut wieners in to two pieces. Roll out one biscuit, Get a piece of bacon and wrap around wiener and place on top of dough on one end. Place some cheese in the center of the dough. Roll up and place on baking sheet.
Do the same to the rest. Bake according to the instructions on can.
Enjoy!
At the store buy little hot dogs and Pillsbury crescent rolls in the tube. The roll the little hot dogs in them and cook them in the oven till the crust is golden! They are so good with barbecue sauce!

you cook your rice and fry your hamburger until just done . Seperate cabbage leaves and par boil until they can be bent without breaking. Drain and cool until you can handle them. Mix together rice and ground beef salt and pepper to taste. Using a large spoon scoop rice and ground beef mixture in fist sized ball and place on cabbage leaf. roll cabbage over ball after 3 rolls fold in sides of cabbage leaf and continue rolling. Repeat with the rest of cabbage then cover in canned
tomatoes along with the juice. Make sure you have atleast 1/4 inch of liquid in bottom of pan or add water or tomato juice to that level. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for approx 1 hour or until cabbage is tender.
INGREDIENTS
2/3 cup water
1/3 cup uncooked white rice
8 cabbage leaves
1 pound lean ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
DIRECTIONS
In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add rice and stir. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Bring a large, wide saucepan of lightly salted water to a boil. Add cabbage leaves and cook for 2 to 4 minutes or until softened; drain.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, 1 cup cooked rice, onion, egg, salt and pepper, along with 2 tablespoons of tomato soup. Mix thoroughly.
Divide the beef mixture evenly among the cabbage leaves. Roll and secure them with toothpicks or string.
In a large skillet over medium heat, place the cabbage rolls and pour the remaining tomato soup over the top. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 40 minutes, stirring and basting with the liquid often.
