Question by Moojoo: What to do with bacon flavored vodka?
Hubby found some bacon flavored vodka earlier today, and we don’t really know what to do with it. Obviously bloody mary’s would be good, but neither of us is really crazy about tomato juice. Anyway, it really does taste like bacon. It’s weird. Any ideas what to do with it?
Bill K found the website. It’s bottled in Cottage Grove, Oregon, close to where I live. It might just be a semi-local phenomenon. We started with mixing it with some chipotle tomato juice. It was AWESOME.

Marinate some Filet Mignon steaks with it and then slowly barbecue them to medium-rare while basting with alcohol. Serve with a red-wine and balsamic reduction. Take a cup of red wine and a cup of quality balsamic add some fresh garlic cloves and pepper medley. 1/2 cup apple juice with a touch of smoke flavoring. Simmer at a low temperature for around 30 minutes or until reduced to around a 1/2 cup or so(when it starts to thicken) serve over filets with a bottle of cabernet to drink.(it’s better than vodka drinking anyway.) Seems to me that it would probably be best used in a recipe that calls for vodka.
What company makes it? I’ve never seen or heard of bacon flavoured vodka before.
