Question by Sidra I: Can you put creme fraiche in a tomato sauce for pasta?
Can you put creme fraiche in a tomato sauce for pasta? If so, how would you add it into the sauce? And would it make the pasta sauce taste sour?
(How many tablespoons should I put into the sauce?) I have 150ml left.
Thank you!!!

Do you really want to add ‘sour cream’ to a tomato based sauce.???? I would pass on this and perhaps make Beef Stroganoff instead.

  2. people have the impression that canned sauce is not fresh, it basicly saves you a step, making good sauce comes down to the ingredients…with that said use a brand name….

  3. This recipe uses cans of tomatoes. When I get a chance I will do another recipe using fresh tomatoes.
