A lot of it will depend on the weather – in warm, sunny conditions they
will grow much quicker, particularly if they are in a greenhouse. Also it
depends on what type you are growing. If they are a small bush variety then
they won’t grow as big anyway. You might want to give your plant a feed
with a tomato fertiliser to help it along. Be patient though – 2 and a half
months is not that long really.
This video is awesome,I just wanted to ask is there really a need to
transplant seeedlings so many times, it is quite annoying.
Hello, I just have one question: How long did it take for your tomato plant
grow grow as big as the one in the beginning of the video? It’s because
I’ve been growing my tomato plant for about 2 and a half months now, but
for some reason, my plant is only about 8-9 inches tall and the stem is not
that thick. It also has a few yellow leaves at the bottom of the plant.
What am I doing wrong? Please help.
Unfortunately it is necessary to transplant them several times as they
grow. But if you start off by buying plug plants rather than growing them
from seed then you can cut out the first stage of transplanting seedlings.
