Question by Mandy: How long does it take for an infected belly button to heal with proper care?
I got my belly button pierced at the end of may in 2009. I made the biggest mistake of replacing the piercing too soon. That was roughly september and shortly after I had an infection. I noticed it got a lot better with sea salt and antibacterial soap but its still as red as a tomato! I dont know how long I have to wait until it looks normal…any help?

This all depends upon the bacterial infection and how much antibiotic you are taken and for how long.
