Question by : How does tomato juice help my headache, when medication won’t?
I have had A headache for over 2 weeks. I have tried all otc medication I can find, nothing works.I finally went to the doctor and he gave me antibiotics and migrain medicene. It calms it down but it is still there. I drank A glass of tomato juice and it went away for A time. How does the tomato juice help when medication went???

well, only thing i can think of is there is a chemical in jelepeneos, which is also used in nasal sprays, that can stop headaches just like this. so the tomatoes may also have this chemical in them.

The tomato juice is high in sugars, the good kind – not the refined ones.
One of the causes of headaches is low blood sugar. I’m really not sure this is what caused you to get relief, but it’s all I can attribute to the tomato juice.
I hope you get relief soon. I have headaches, too, and I know how miserable they can make you feel.
