Question by Sam Y: I’m stupod in the kitchen. Can I put red wine vinegar in tomato sauce? Will it still taste edible?
I cut up an onion, a green and red pepper and a tomato and put some red wine vinegar in it. Can I still the whole concotion in a tomato sauce?

  3. That sounds nasty as hell with the red wine vinegar try a dash of garlic instead. But just a little.

  4. With an onion, a green pepper and a red pepper, you need more than one tomato. Add a tin of tomato sauce to it and yes, you can add red wine vinegar. If you do, add a pinch of sugar as well.

  5. I think you’re on entirely the right path as far as your cooking goes! What time should I be there for supper?? (your spelling, on the other hand, could use some serious work, lol)

  6. You could but dont put much in it. Balance it out with a little bit of sugar.

  7. No that is not a good idea. A better idea is putting red wine (not sweet like port but semi dry or dry) or even a dark beer is wonderful in any kind of spaghettti or tomato sauce. I suppose since you already have it in the veggies you can try it but the vinegar may make it have a sour flavor, if it does you could try a little sugar or honey.
