Question by me: Help with my tomato plants?
I planted tomato plants and they have been doing very well. They bloomed and have green tomatoes on the vines. We put Miracle Grow on them once a month. All of a sudden, the leaves are starting to turn yellow like the plant might be thinking about dying. I dont know whats causing this. I live in Northern Indiana and we have been getting LOTS of rain . Could this be from getting to much water?

I live in Indiana too and we have had ALOT of rain. Fortunately where I live has a lot of sand in the soil and the excess water drains away. I would say that all the rain we have received is probably what is causing the leaves to turn yellow. If you have clay soils then I would say that is 95% chance what is happening to your tomato. Just wait it out for a couple of weeks to see if you get a dry spell and see if your plant starts to look better. If you get a dry period of a week or so and your tomato is still turning yellow on more leaves then try giving it a shot fertilizer with a 1/4 cup of epsom salts mixed in with it. This should green it up. Again wait a week or so if you get a dry week and see if the excess water is causing the problem then try the fertilizer treatement.
I also included a website about yellowing leaves to give you some other ideas about what may be happening.

You’re AMAZING! And again I laughed out loud as you drank the tomato juice.
I would do the exact same thing. Yum! Can’t wait to try it. Carol
on my salsa farmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
@TheCarobi5 Hi Carol, You’re like my sister.
I bought a box of peaches at the farmers market today, will definitely give
this a try, it looks yummy. I love your videos, and your recipes, please
keep them coming. However, I must say that I don’t care for the style of
this as much as your usual videos. The close ups were not as appealing, and
the talkover was eerie. This is just my opinion, and I will continue to
watch no matter what you do, but I just thought I’d share my thoughts with
you. Hope you don’t mind. Thanks!
You’re welcome! Thanks for viewing and for taking the time to comment. I
appreciate your support.
Ughhh I love peach salsa! This looks delicious Jane!
i cannot imagine a salsa without onions and garlic; i would include some
garlic and some other allium family vegie, at least chives to round it out
… such a helpful and inspiring video, thanx for the 1 to 4 idea with the
vitamix and the removal of the juice … never knew how not to liquefy
tomatoes!
@deadwillwalk77 Thanks! Local Arizona peaches
@troylizzi I don’t mind. I appreciate that you took the time to comment and
I appreciate your kind words and support. Jane.
