  1. I like that you have shared extra tomatoes with others. That is a treat for them and helps spread peace. I hope God blesses your efforts.

  2. I use a cordless toothbrush to vibrate the flowers about once a day. Shaking the vines will work too.

  3. I have a small green house and had problems with my Tomatoes pollinating. It doesn’t appear that you are having that issue.. Whats the Secret to pollination in the green house.

  4. Never mine Johnny’s!

  5. Bobby where you order those Fortex beans from, would like to try that variety this year. looks beautiful

  6. I’ll give it a go right here on the tomatoes and peppers. Tomato: favorite is Rutgers, great for canning, juicing, slicing… just awesome. Second choice is Big Beef, a hybrid that holds up well, produces heavily, and tastes great. For peppers, I like the hybrids..Camelot X3R.. or anything in the King Arthur line. I think they are all related. For an open pollinated variety, California Wonder is great.

  7. Thanks Bobby…was wondering if you might like to do a video describing ALL the varieties of vegetables you have chosen to use. I got a few from this one and am glad to have them. Would really like to know which varieties of tomatoes you prefer and peppers too. :)

  8. Thank you so much for the advice. I am so tired of the overly priced produce in NJ. It’s extreamly early, but i decided to star a few inside recently. Give the plants a fighting chance and strong root system. They need all the help they can get agianst my brown thumb. lol. I hope your Christmas was swell and have a happy New Years. God bless =)

  9. Try Johnnys Seeds…

  10. WHERE do yo get those fortex beans cause i tried riemers seeds but they dont have it

  11. Being in the desert, I reckon raising fish would be a challenge. I’m not sure yet how I’m gonna to keep the water temps in the fish tank from getting too high. I’ll come up with something…I sure don’t want to lose any fish. :)

  12. Thanks, I bought a couple of IBC totes, so it’s time to get to work.

  13. Just starting out, I’d build some raised beds, about 4 x 4. And then plant radish, carrots, beets, and lettuce. Things that are fairly easy to grow, and produce in a short amount of time. Then I’d do a few cucumbers and squash. Followed by transplanting of tomatoes and peppers. And then, if all went well…..I’d build larger raised beds or get a walk behind tiller and start making some rows.

  14. Thank you. I may put the seeds in the ground, but I can’t take full credit for anything that is produced. I get a lot of help. 😉

  15. Can’t wait to see the hydroponic greenhouse in the works. I always wanted to do an aquaponic system but I live in the hot desert and have a super tiny yard. I have to live vicarious through YouTube for that. LOL

  16. I love your videos and envy you for you greenhouse…can’t wait to see your aquaponics.

  17. What vegtables do your recomend growing for a beginer? What is a decent size garden to start with? Do you have any advice for a starting gardener?

  18. Rich soil? Hmmm… sounds like too much manure. :) … I noticed a couple of the icicles forming. And I have a couple of almost golf ball size beets. I added a good amount of goat manure before I planted. Forgot all about these being root crops and not needing so much nitrogen. Hopefully they keep growing. If necessary, I’ll clip some of the tops off. 😉

  19. Bobby a few of us here in western pa had problems with turnips and radishes. Some say our soil was to rich. we only got tops very little radishes and also turnips :

  20. lol why I tried!

  21. Much Thanks for sharing your experience and the knowlegde that come from it.

  22. I’ve seen a few video titles on food forests, but haven’t watched them. I’ll try to get it on my to-do list and see what the deal is. :)

  23. Given time and good conditions, bell peppers will get huge. I had some last year 6-7 feet tall. It takes them awhile, but they are more than capable of tree like growth. Up next, I think I need to figure out a way to get some IBC’s into the GH for an aquaponics trial run. I don’t have any doors big enough to get them in, so gonna have to think on it a bit.

  24. A little drive I could handle. You’re talking about a journey, LOL

  25. Haha… I ordered several packs of seed for medicinal purposes, and I forgot who did what. :)
