Question by joojoobee: I am looking for a recipe for “New York Dressing”?
It is simular to “Catalina” I heard (Possible tomato -based) does anyone recall this recipe, I can’t find anything on-line. I promised my brother-in-law I would try to find the recipe for him.

Answer by caroline w
1 can condensed tomato soup
4 tablespoons sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
1 teaspoon dry mustard
2 tablespoons minced onions
1/4 cup vinegar

Put everything in the container of your blender and whiz.
Or, let the kids put in a big jar and shake.
Chill at least 2 hours before using; you may have to re-shake.
