  1. I’d just use the larger pots & be done with it. LOL But that’s me. Have you ever seen, “For the Love of Water”? I heard you mention Food Inc. In another video. I’m watching your playlist & when I heard you say that at the time my hands were full. You might get into it…

  2. your posts are confusing, in several videos you promote aquaponics then in a few you are against aquaculture, make up your mind bro

  3. Any plants that will become larger, go ahead and put the start in the larger 3″ pot. Also, plants that will get taller like tomatoes, you should put on the north side / outer edge of the raft so that they can climb up the back side of the tiers and not block sunlight from reaching the bottom tier.

  4. Thanks for watching and commenting. Sleestakesrule is an expert at growing tomatoes.

  5. Those plants would be much bigger if they were in the sun. They might be getting enough nutrients from the fish, but it means nothing if they can’t process it into something useful due to lack of energy required for photosynthesis. Sweet setup.. Check out my stuff, cause I’m sure we have lots of cool stuff to share.

  6. Put the seeds in rockwool to start or Grodan in a plastic container. Once the roots pop out the bottom stick them in a 3″ net pot at the bottom. Fill with hydroton almost up to the leaves. As it grows fill the pot with a little more hydroton for stability as the plant grows. If it’s a small determinate tomato plant just stick with the small net pots and they work fine for the life of the plant. Those roots look nice!
