sounds like your making spaghetti n meatballs?

generally, i would flavour the meatballs itself with some salt/pepper, chilliflakes, meat seasoning, thyme, rosemary, caramelised garlic and onion and celery :)

but if the meatballs ur using are plain, to the sauce you could add some crushed garlic, some herbs like basil or oregano, salt/pepper, chilli flakes, olives, capers, italian sausages, pancetta, bacon cubes, chicken stock, mushrooms (yes, vegetables do wonders to flavour sauces), you could also add some balsamic vinegar for a nice tangy kick :)

  2. You can put garlic powder, a little cumin, onion powder, salt, black pepper and fresh herbs like cilantro and rosemary it will be delicious. You can also add bullion cubes!

  3. For 40 party meatballs, add:
3 cups grape jam, 1 cup sweet pickle relish, and 3/4 cup tomato sauce.
    OR
3 cups apple jelly and 1 cup Dijon mustard. (Omit the tomato product.)
    OR
3 cups orange marmalade and 3/4 cup tomato sauce.

If the sauce gets too thick after it sits for awhile, add a little ginger ale or beer and stir well.
