Question by goodgreif40: What are your favorite toppings on a salad?
I love Feta cheese and McCormick Salad Toppings, the darker green lettuces, red onion, cucumbers, really ripe tomato, mushrooms, etc.

  3. Very nice looks yummy. I Also add some acid to my salads like vinegar or
    lemon. Try it next time it adds soo much flavor

  13. Well besides the normal things (lettuce, carrot strips, etc.) I like to have chicken and ranch dressing on my salad.

  14. I have many favourites, like
    1. Strawberries that are very ripe with dark green lettuce, and a bit of orange juice as dressing. I love the mixture of flavours.
    2. Olives, feta cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers
    3. Chicken, or beans, with light dressing on the side. :)
    Gottaa love the salad :)

    Okay…now I need a salad. *L*

  17. Iceberg lettuce with spinach mixed in, onion, cheese, cucumbers, croutons, good home grown tomatoes, those are my favorite salad ingredients.

    lettuce leaves,
    a bit of rocket,
    grated carrot,
    diced red peppers,
    cucumber.

    It’s gorgeous with pizza or a nice piece of cold chicken breast. Oh I’m going kitchen now…

  20. blue cheese crumbles, toasted nuts, roma tomatoes, homemade croutons (not those hard thngs that are store-bought in a box!), real bacon bits

  21. If ever I have all of the ingredients at the same time:
    Feta cheese
    Sharp cheddar cheese
    Shredded Parmesan cheese
    Pepper cheese chunks
    Croutons
    Raisins
    Cucumbers
    Sliced garden tomatoes
    Black & green olives
    some banana slices
    shredded apples (not the peel)
    shredded carrots
    sliced hard boiled eggs
    well done ground beef (that has been fried with garlic)
    sliced sweet cherries
    extra crispy crumbled bacon (the real stuff)
    sweet onion slices
    Romaine lettuce – crisp
    Spinach
    Pour over a mild sweet mustard dressing or ranch dressing.
    Topped with course ground black pepper (grind the pepper onto the salad)
    Don’t need to eat anything else with the salad – it’s the meal.

  22. I like a good mayonnaise, preferably home made.
