  1. I like chilled, diced tomatoes in a cold bowl with chilled, sliced cucumbers, topped with a small amount of Catalina salad dressing. It’s really good!

  2. Have you ever had sundried tomatoe dressing? It’s very good. I’d take red tomatoe’s any day over the yellow ones. Put some of those crunchy bread pieces in there with some sharp shredded cheese over the lettuce. For a little spice you might be able to put some banana peppers in there as well. I like spicy stuff. Some fresh garlic bread out of the oven thats nice and warm would be a great complement to your delicious salad. Why not get some spegetti going with that while you’re at it. You could even light a candle to set the atmosphere. It’s kinda neat when you’re alone in a house with dinner for one with candle light. Good way to relax and chill out.

  3. yes, coob

  4. I like them by them selves, eaten like a raw apple, salt shaker in one hand tomatoe in the other over a bib.

  5. Wash and clean

    1/2 cup diced cauliflower (raw)
    1/2 cup diced zucchini
    1/2 cup shredded carrot

    3 tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
    1 table spoon sugar

    Salt and pepper to taste

Mix it all together and chill in the frigde for at least an hour.
Very good and good for you too

  6. chopped slightly over ripe red tomatoes, olive oil, wine vinegar, splash of balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic powder or minced fresh garlic, oregano or italian seasoning….mix it all together and refrigerate. Refreshing and great to dip crusty bread into…..

  7. I love to take different colors of heirloom tomatoes and slice them up, lay them on a platter, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and ground pepper. Simple is best, especially when they are in season.

  8. yeah, but not by themselves. And I’ve never really tried any other colored tomatoes other than red. Hmmmm. *wonders* But as for the salads you could make with them. . . . .
well, there’s chef salad, potato salad(yeah, you can add tomatos to this. And don’t knock it tull you try it), regular salad, tomato salad, fruit salad(don’t know about that one, but tomato is a fruit), greenbean salad, bacon lettus and tomato salad, kidney bean salad, orange tangerine salad, white lettuce salad, Arugula-Pear Salad with Olive Vinaigrette, white bean and peach tangerine salad, red radish-arugula brocolli salad, and probably a lot lot more.
All of which tomatoes would taste great in! *drools*
btw: some of the names are not actual that’s just whut I call them. [^_^]

  9. Well, where I live it is winter- and no “real” tomatoes- the hot house ones are just gross. They are very different in season. My favorite salad is fresh picked cherry tomatoes off the vine ( these can be red cherry, yellow pear, mini purple) , some chopped onion, chopped basil, olive oil, balsalmic vinager, salt and pepper.

  10. great big slabs of ripe red tomatoes and onions on thick slices of homemade bread
