Question by yevgeniy 1: What plastic is best for greenhouses?
I live in Denver, CO and i need to know what type of greenhouse plastic i need. Ive already made a frame for the greenhouse but i still need to know what type of plastic i should get for the greenhouse. Im planning to grow tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and other vegetables. Should i get white or clear plastic and what are the pros and cons of each plastic. Thanks in advance!

order plastic sheeting that is made just for greenhouse use…. it’s UV stable… lasts for about four years…..it is not quite clear ….

Use polycarbonate. It’s strong, cheap and naturally double, or triple glazed. Very easy to cut to shape, just make sure you choose a UV protected material. Otherwise it will deteriorate in the sun.
