It depends on the order of the other meals. If sandwich first, it tends to precede spaghetti and other proteins. If vegetables come second, they will be alright. If salad is last, you will be able to eat it.

  1. How about a small thermos bottle with a top to keep in the cold.

  2. yes keep the dressing separate,
croutons separate if you don’t want your croutons to be soggy.
They make very good and sturdy salad tupperware so get one of those and you should be fine. Make sure your salad is full of a variety of vegetables, nuts and if you also prefer fruits in your salad because sometimes salads don’t give you enough nutrients. Although if a salad is made right it can be one of the healthiest foods. So yeah 😀

  3. You should keep it in a lunch box with an ice pack.

  4. well next time you make a salad, this weekend buy a silver lined thermal lunch box and stick the lunch box in the freezer. you can buy these soft lunch boxes in any sporting/camping section in any store even in cute designs. they do work as designed so you can keep it at your desk.
    Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

next time keep the crutons in a seperate bag the will get soggy

for now without the correct lunch box answer is no it will spoil and will be too long out of a fridge.

if you have a really nice teacher ask if they will do a one time favor of storing your food in the teacher’s lounge for you. i had a math teacher that did that for me.( but i did say if)

  5. A simple means of keeping your salad fresh is to put a frozen tetra juice pack in with it.You have fresh salad & a cold drink for lunch.

  6. If you put your salad in one container and the salad dressing in a other container it will be ok

  7. Hey. Why did I get one star?

  8. Your salad will be good at 11:00 as long as you keep wet ingredients like tomatoes and salad dressing separate from the rest of the salad. Be sure your salad is dry before you pack it. Put croutons in a plastic bag.

You might like a pasta salad when you want a change. Make it interesting by using different kinds of pasta. Try bow-tie pasta, spinach wheels, or multicolored rigatoni. Don’t overcook them. Try different combinations of ingredients, too. Try some chopped onion, red and green bell pepper cut into skinny strips, grape tomatoes or chopped tomatoes, whole kernel canned corn, chopped celery, pinto or black beans. Add some dried cranberries, raisins, or nuts, if you like. You can make your salad the night before, drain it in the morning (Lettuce and other greens sometimes “weep.”), add the dressing, and let it marinate while you’re in class. You need some good crackers, too.

These dressings are good with any salads, but I especially like them on pasta salad. If you like spicy, add a little hot sauce or a minced hot pepper to any of them.

Half plain yogurt and half ranch dressing
Half low-fat sour cream and half peppercorn ranch dressing
Cucumber dressing, plain yogurt, and minced onion
Sweet onion dressing with plain yogurt or sour cream, black pepper, and sunflower kernels.
