  5. You forgot to mention cultivating the soil around the plant. Cultivating allows water and air to get to the roots and also helps remove weeds that compete with the plant.

  6. You can improve clay with organic material – compost. You can also get a truck load of super soil/ garden soil delivered from a store. Best for plants to be in the ground. A raised bed would be good for a garden for drainage and added warmth to the soil. But I would only recommend container gardening for plants that do better in them such as egg plant or for someone who doesn’t have space, like an appartment dweller.

  7. Not if your yard is mostly clay.

  8. Thanks for the informative post 😉

  9. Put your plants in the ground. Container gardening requires more watering.

  10. I agree w/ many of the posters. I was thinkin’ the whole time; Many words…little said.

  11. Yes, help your neighbor. By helping each other out we create a better society. Plus, you’ll encourage him to continue gardening. If my garden looked like that I’d be very discouraged. Have you ever heard of using clay pots to help water your plants? That might help your neighbor if he doesn’t have to time to water. Just make sure that they are covered with nylon or another material to keep out mosquitoes. Hope this helps and happy gardening. :-)

  12. I use pee. It’s organic. Lots of nitrogen. Water it down a bit. Beats flushing it and wasting water. Just be careful that you don’t put it on plants that thrive in highly alkaline soil.

  13. Actually this was very informative.

did you take your riitilan before you watched it?

  14. Actually, they are called “zucchine” (eh sound). Zucchine is a (plural) diminutive of zucca (squash-pumpikin) wich is a feminine-singular noun: zucca-zucche-zucchina-zuchine. Zucchini is a plural masculine noun.

  24. I enjoyed that video and like likely subscribe. Unfortunately, some.of the people posting comments are massive tools.

Take the racism discussion elsewhere, people are trying to learn to provide for themselves and you’re like the dumb kids at the back of the class slowing things down for everyone.
