  1. Calm down you are over reacting! Those are plastic five gallon buckets that have no doubt had the paint removed. Yes they are plastic but they are not toxic by most standards.
You can afford to go to an extreme to get materials that you can afford but for these people they are not gonna go to Home Depot and shell out their food money they are operating at the lower end. If you have ever seen their slums you would be amazed how they can thrive in those conditions.

  2. I am unable to listen anything in this video !

  3. Thank you. Yes, I will pass this message on to them.

  4. I’m so horrified that these dear people are growing food in paint/chemical pots! That is so toxic and will leach into the vegetables and people will ingest them.
Please warn the people at Zed Foundation. It upsets me alot that people would eat contaminated food when trying to be so healthy.

  5. You’re so right! You should only grow food in food service or new buckets. NEVER in containers that held chemicals!

    Great video except for that!

  6. not sure about paint buckets though, they were full of chemicals after all

  24. Hey Louise!
Glad you loved the video! The temperature varies according to type of plant / vegetable and where it is native to. You’ll have to check on what’s going to do well in the region that you are in. :)

  25. I always plant early girl. Grows quickly and very tasty. Try that.

  26. Six hours of strong sunlight like during the middle of the day, say something like 11 to 5 will work for most tomatoes that I have ever planted.

  27. there are early maturing varieties and late, look at the tags on the plants, if 6 hours is the maximum i suggest the early variety

  28. In the world of Horticulture, 6 – 8 hours is considered full sun. Any variety of tomatoes will thrive with 6 hours.
