Try 7 dust, I knew an old German woman that picked the bugs off of her plants and put them in a can of kerosene she carried. This worked real good for her and did not make any harmful chemical side affect.

  1. Yes. Just chop them up and you have salsa.

  2. not only do you keep your plants safe, but you also get spicy tomatos + +
    for both.

  3. You’re welcome. Good luck!

  4. Just noticed three of these buggers on my plants today and freaking out!
Thanks for this. About to try it

  5. why not just step on it?

  6. I tried to kill them all, but they kept coming back until I did the soap
and pepper solution. Also, gunfire and explosives can damage the tomatoes.
    :)

  7. I haven’t tried tumeric. With ants I’ve been using that spray you put all
around your house to keep them out of my house. They don’t ever try to eat
    my tomatoes.

  8. Also works good for cleaning dishes, if don’t use the pepper.

  9. The soapy water solution by itself also works good for box elder bugs!

  10. It’s funny that all my favorite foods kill bugs. Maybe the answer is to get
rid of the tomatoes next year and plant hot peppers and garlic. I bet the
    bugs will leave them alone.

  11. Cool. Thanks.

  12. That’s true, and I never have problems with worms on my dishes either.

  13. nice tip . did you tried turmeric ? we use that to get rid of ants, i dont
think it kills them but it kinda drives them off

  14. Cool do you know a remedy for greenfly

  15. I hope it works for you. It worked for me.

  16. I’m a novice at vege gardening, was in tears looking at my tomatoes being
savaged.. Will try this n pray that this works.. :(((

  17. i tryed the soapy water but i got a better way to do it. You need to take
garlic, cut it into the thinest slices you can get and then put it inot the
spray bottle filled with water over the night It works so much better

  18. I read that dish soap works, or dish soap mixed with vinegar. Try that.

  19. i usually shoot them with a bb gun or strap fire crackers on them

  20. It’s called Sevin dust and kills a wide range of insects, including honeybees. – if you want an organic, use Organicide. Spray thoroughly to get all the insects. They sound like aphids and organicide is very effective against them.

  21. Aphids come in many colors depending on the juice of different plants. they also get fatter and darker as time passes, and get wing on them too. If you spray them real hard one or tow times, that would not damage your plants.Put a tea spoon of liquid soap in a spray bottle, and spray the whole plants including the back of the leaves. You can also buy a spray made by Safer products.
