If you have some red wine or beer you can use those along with some water for the liquid for a stew. Rosemary and or Thyme would be good with both. You can also use plain water in your stew. If you have a brown gravy mix you can add that for added flavor.
ETA: I don’t use a recipe. I just put a packet of brown gravy in with the water. I just put enough water to cover the veggies and meat in my stew. If you need more than 2 cups of liquid I would use 2 packs. The gravy mix is basically just dried beef broth with cornstarch, salt and seasonings with a little caramel color thrown in to make it darker. I put it all in the crock pot and let it go all day on low.

  6. You are awesome! That is the best “how-to” do anything video I have ever
seen. Beautiful. Simple. Clear. Thank you.

  7. It looks delicious and easy to do.

  8. You can cut up the vegies into bite-size chunks, mix with the beef tips, and blend in the contents of a can of tomato soup and another can of water. Put it all in the crockpot, and let it go on low for at least 5 and up to 8 hours. Delicious. In a pinch, you can just cover the ingedients by about an inch, with plain water, salt and pepper, but it’s better with the soup. Cream of mushroom, or actually cream of anything is also excellent with this. Remember when you’re using the crockpot that your items must be covered with liquid, but not much more than covered. You don’t want your ingredients swimming around in it.

  9. You don’t need any broth of any kind for a crock-pot. It makes its own. You have
all the ingredients just put in pot and cover it. Set on low and when u come home from work it will be ready. If u have time now u can even set the table before
u leave. thats a big help.
