Question by LJ808: How can I keep gnats off of my vegetable garden?
I’m growing tomato and some herbs and the gnats won’t go away. Can someone tell me some tricks or links to something I can purchase that is safe for my garden but that will keep the gnats away? Thanks.

Ahh I feel your pain with the gnats. They can be so annoying. Here’s the link to a very reputable site that sells gnat traps and other products to eliminate them.

Hope this helps!

  1. I’m not quite sure why these videos are only a minute long?!

  2. The gnats are laying eggs in the soil and that is the source of the gnats. The eggs will keep hatching and there will be more and more. They like the moist soil. The adults live for about 10 days. Some no salt sand on top of the soil will kill the eggs and larvae and it will cut the gnats. Soapy water with a little bit of vinegar in containers will drown gnats.
