  7. wrong vid..nvm

  8. You covered the tomatoe jar and let it sit for 4 days with your seeds on the paper towl. Yet when you show the pear and drain it it has the seeds in the jar. After you put the insides of the tomatoe in the jar do you add the seeds or let them dry seperately and then add them?

  9. For not fur…

  10. — Very true, Me too actually. I would have done an heirloom, but at the time, store-bought tomatoes were all I had to make this video :)

  11. Agree

  12. Great vid but i wouldnt be saving store bought hybrid gmo tomato seeds , id be saving hairloom tomato seeds, but hay thanks for uploading.

  14. Well said!

  15. Thanks for explaining this process!

  16. — I agree, the mroe of us that learn how to do this, the more we can rely on ourselves as human beings.

  17. — thanks its a useful skill. Some seeds are cheap, but doing your own saving makes you feel self reliant and its a cool thought to know that you raised that plants ‘grandparents’ so to speak, lol

  18. Thank you, very good vid on how to get, process the seeds. :)

  19. — Glad to hear it, I hope everyone tries it. I’ve done it a few time, its amazing to watch the “generations” of plants.

  20. that is very cool I am going to for sher do this next year thank you

  21. — It is, once you’ve got the steps down. And very useful, if you ever get hold of an heirloom you really like :)

  22. You make it look easy enough.

  23. really depends on the shape of the garden—-is it 1’x24′—–2’x12′—-3’x8′—–4’x6′—-or something unregular like a Nike swoop or a star?

  24. Rule of thumb. Keep them 2 feet apart. If you had a 1 x 24 garden you could get 13 plants which would be the most of any shape plus make them a heck of lot easier to stake, pick etc.

  25. there are 3456 sq inches

each one uses 324 sq inches (18×18)

    so about 10.
