    Thanks!

  3. You seem typical of a lot of teens who become vegetarians. They decide to not eat meat, but don’t really like vegetables that much.

It isn’t as if you’re stuck with just iceberg these days. I’m also betting that you’ve regularly eaten identical sauces to salad dressing on various vegetable dishes, and proclaimed them great.

  4. Yes that’s perfectly normal.
There’s no link between not eating meat and liking salad.
I don’t like salad dressing either.

  5. No! But I’d imagine that would get sucky when going to steakhouses and restaurants of the like whose idea of a vegetarian dish is a side salad.

  6. Nothing about being a vegetarian causes a person to like salad. So no, not weird.

I do wonder though, how many DIFFERENT salads have you tasted? Because cherry tomatoes and peppers are hardly ‘fancy crap’. They’re pretty classic salad ingredients. That you think them fancy, and think that salad is always plain without fancy crap, makes me think that your experience of salad is limited to having a bunch of lettuce on your plate.

Probably drenched in something out of a bottle marked ‘salad dressing’, which is usually the most incredible shit available at your local grocery store. Because saying you hate salad dressing is like saying your hate sauce: it begs the question “what KIND of salad dressing?” There are hundreds if not thousands of different kinds of salad dressings, and that is not even counting the ones thrown together on the spot based on what the salad eater happens to have in the house and what they like on their salad.

  7. I’m sure there are things you can put into a salad that you do like.

On the other hand, I know vegans (non-meat eaters) that never put a vegetable to their lips, only cheese, sweets, and cake and they are still technically vegans.

See the website below for some good vegan recipes WITH FRUITS and VEGETABLES.

  8. Salad with Cherry tomatoes and Peppers is still salad – its up to you what you put into it. If its just a few boring leaves of lettuce then its completely normal to not like it! If you do a google image search for salad, you can see what different things can be used. If you still don’t like it – who cares? Who wants to be normal anyway? I’m vegan and I hate tofu! Being Veggie/Vegan does not mean you have to like certain foods :-)

  9. I’m not a huge salad fan, but I do eat them. What is it about salad dressing you don’t like? You could always do a mix of salad veggies with maybe a splash of lemon juice or some flavoring.

  10. Just because your a vegetarian doesn’t mean you have to like salads. That’s just a sterio type. As a vegetarian personally i love salads but I’m not gonna assume all vegetarians do.
