Question by scaredandalone: What can I stuff my butterfly pork chops with?
I have some butterfly pork chops and I would usually chop up some fresh veggies or an apple or even just use stuffing for them but I don’t have any of that today, so I didn’t know what I could stuff them with. (I am not at my home so I don’t have alot of options) I have lots of can veggies, potatoes, cheese, tomatoes, rice, pasta, flour, sugar, eegs, chicken (cooked), ragu, pancake mix, and lots of seasonings… I know alot of this is ridiculous and won’t be any use but I just wanted to list everything I have available…

Anyone have any ideas? I am stuck..
Oh and I have bread and at least 4 different type of shredded cheese, not just sliced :/

My choice would be a thin slice of pineapple, or use a breadcrumb and onion stuffing meat.

  2. Cube up the bread and toast it a bit in the oven.
Onions, celery and if you have an apple saute these while bread is toasting.
Add onion mixture to bread cubes and add a bit of broth to moisten.
    Stuff chops.
    Bake until chops are done.

    Another option.

    Make rice
If you have onions and peppers add some of them to the rice as you are cooking it.
The tomatoes would also be a good addition to the rice mixture almost like a “spanish rice” even better if you have some spicy peppers.
Mix in some cheese when rice is done and stuff chops.

You could not butterfly them, or don’t stuff them if they are already butterflied. Brown on both sides. Then cover with your ragu. Cook until done and chops are tender. Top with cheese. Make your pasta and serve the chops with the “gravy” on the pasta.

  3. I would stuff them with seasoned mashed potatoes,Make your own stuffing with the bread, seasonings. Doesn’t sound bad, huh?
