Why is cottage cheese most often paired with sweet foods like fruits, sugar, etc.
Is it not cheese? Why not with something more savory? That sounds more appealing to me.

i love cottage cheese. i eat it by itself sprinkled with black pepper, on a sand-which, or on pasta. i never eat it on fruit. i think it’s gross on fruit….but that’s just a personal preference.
edit: a good idea with pasta is when you’re making your sauce, cut up fresh tomatoes with onions, mushroom, green bell pepper, and put cottage cheese in the mix. it’s delicious!

Lol, I use to think it was weird when people put it in their salads. But yeah, it’s good with canned peaches. Not as bad as it looks. Great stuff, and actually pretty healthy.
