  1. I have made Giada’s Spicy Tomato soup and it uses marinara. I’m sure it would. Would you like me to find Giada;s recipe for you?

  2. How about making meatball subs? Ravioli, Tortellini, baked ziti, lasagna.

If you add whipping cream or heavy cream, it will become “Vodka Sauce” (with or without a shot of vodka in it) and this goes nicely on various shaped pasta.
You certainly can add tomato sauce to any meat you may want to bake, like meatloaf, or meatballs

Also if you roast any vegetables, peppers, zucchini, egg plant, onions garlic, you can add the sauce to that. Kinda like a vegetable stew (without the meat)

I don’t believe you can make tomato soup from it, however I’ve heard you could make tomato soup out of Tomato Paste, by just adding water, since tomato paste is just concentrated tomatoes.

Last but not least, jarred tomato sauce has a long shelf life, so don’t fret too much about having to use it up in a hurry.

  4. Chicken Parmesan (use boneless skinless chicken breasts and sliced Mozzerella cheese and Parmasan cheese)

Chicken Scaloppini (same as above, w/o the cheeses)

Beef, Macaroni (cooked elbows) and Spaghetti sauce, casserole style (ask for a recipe, I have a great one, OK people here it is, enough emails:

    1/2 cup Original Bisquick® mix
    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, if desired
    1/4 cup water
    1 egg
1 pound lean (at least 80%) ground beef
    2 cups spaghetti sauce
    3/4 cup water
1 cup uncooked small elbow macaroni

    1. Heat oven to 375°F. In small bowl, stir together Bisquick® mix, cheese, garlic powder, 1/4 cup water and the egg; set aside.
    2. In ovenproof 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium heat about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce, 3/4 cup water and the macaroni. Heat to boiling, about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Spoon Bisquick® mixture around edge of skillet, leaving center open.
    3. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until top is golden brown. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft) Increase water for beef mixture to 1 cup. Bake 22 to 27 minutes.

    And another:

    1 package (25 to 27 1/2 oz) frozen cheese-filled ravioli
1 jar (28 oz) tomato pasta sauce (any chunky variety)
1 bag (1 lb) frozen broccoli, green beans, pearl onions and red peppers
1 can (15 oz) Progresso® cannellini (white kidney) beans, drained, rinsed
1/4 cup shredded fresh Parmesan cheese, if desired

    1. Cook and drain ravioli as directed on package.
    2. While ravioli is cooking, mix pasta sauce, vegetables and beans in 3-quart saucepan. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 6 to 8 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
    3. Serve vegetable mixture over ravioli. Serve with cheese.

Homemade Pizza (store bought pizza shells, refrigerated dough [think Pillsbury in the tube])

    Calzones with Sauce

    Italian Sloppy Joes

That should be enough for a start…..If you need more, let me know…..

  5. Use it to make lasagna. Brown some ground beef and add it to the sauce after you drain the grease. Add some diced onion, about 1/2 a cup. Put in some olives and/or mushrooms if you like. Boil your lasagna noodles for about 7 minutes. Grate up about 3 cups of cheese, more if you like it cheesy. Place a layer of noodles in the bottom of a pan(13X9″)then sauce then cheese and some cottage cheese too. Repeat for about 3 layers. Bake at 375 for about 35 minutes until golden brown on top–I like mine thick, but adjust to your own personal taste.
