Question by Sarah *: Where can I get good fried green tomatoes at a restaurant between Raleigh, NC, and Fayetteville, NC?
Looking for a recommendation for a restaurant that serves fried green tomatoes, between Raleigh and Fayetteville, or a little bit off that path. I thought Mimi’s served them, but I can’t find them on the menu.

I tried to get the menu from “Ye Olde Waffle Shop” in Chapel Hill, but could not find it. They have awesome breakfast food. Just outside of UNC, main campus.

    I usually eat them in the summer, but we have oranges at Xmas, too… my dad is Swedish. My cooking style is “try it and see”. Whatever I’m making on video is the first time I’m making it, EVER. Haha… works so far :)

    first i thought, hmm, not so sure, but then seeing it, i thought: yes, sure! your cooking reminds me of Rachel Ray, but in a much better way (if that makes sense). and clementines … they remind me of xmas. we used to eat boatloads for xmas in norway. so i don’t think of them as a fall fruit … (are they?)

    Busy Bee Cafe in downtown Raleigh has them on their sides menu and it is very good.
