  1. What a wonderful vid! You are such a great “canner” – excellent way to use
up those extra tomatoes :) Your boys are such cute helpers, too!

  2. Dale, “pigearvet” has a nice gardening channel with only a few subs. He
lives in Canada too, thought you might like to go check him out. Take care!

  3. Great looking jam. I think I need a hearing aid when you first said the
dogs name Atlas, I thought you said Gutless and I thought what a sad name
    for a beautiful dog, LOL.

  4. I think that would be a good way to spice it up :)

  5. looks good, thanks

  6. I made a Tomato Jam last year but it was savory. It’s so rich in tomato
flavor you can use it in place of tomato’s on a BLT and I love it with a
bit of cream cheese on a cracker. Your recipe looks awesome, I’m going to
try it when my tomato’s come in. Thanks for the awesome videos!

  7. I hope you will have some tomatoes to try it with :) I just checked out
your channel and subbed! Thanks for watching!

  8. I can’t make enough, everyone loves it! Let me know what you think when you
    do :)

  9. Thank you! A savory Tomato jam sounds yummy. I think if someone tasted this
jam blindfolded it would be hard for them to tell it was made from
tomatoes. I can hardly describe it, just that it is very good. Thanks so
    much for watching!

  10. Thanks! That sounds like it would be a good twist to this recipe. Let me
    know how it tastes.

  11. Oh my.. the boys are adorable!

  12. LOL!

  13. That looks really good. Think I’m gonna do it with some peppers I have.
    ummmmgood!

  14. We are SO gonna try this! Thanks!

  15. I think it would taste more like a PB &J with cheese on it, which sounds
very good to me! You would probably not recognize it as being tomato
tasting. I will have to give your toast sandwich a try, it is not a
combination I would ever think would taste good together :)

  16. We have made tomato jam before. It tastes great.

  17. lol…you need a tripod… :-) looks great! do you use this like any jam or
with cheese? is the cup measurement of tomatoes before or after it is
    cooked? tkx for the vid!

  18. Hayden and Atlas look just like my lab, Jake. He passed about a year ago.
He was 13 and my life long buddy. Seeing them looking like him in his
younger days made me miss him. Thanks for sharing them and this recipe. God
    bless.

  19. Good idea for all those extra tomatoes I’ll have lol…

  20. nice vid…never tried tomato jam…we make a toast sandwich (my dad
created it many years ago) with toast, peanut butter, sharp cheddar and
ketchup…wonder if using the jam would be as delish…? :)

  21. I am making all kinds of different things with tomatoes while I have them
:) Its feast or famine with the tomatoes. Take care!

  22. Ah, I can only imagine how sad it was to say goodbye after 13 years. I
dread the days. They are like children and best friends all in one. Thanks
    for the comment :)

  23. This looks delicious! I don’t know how I missed this post, but glad I found
it! Thanks for sharing. Great stuff. I can imagine adding a bit of crushed
    habanero flakes for some zing.

  24. I really do, lol . . that was pretty hard to do one handed. This is used
like any jam, great on toast, PB&J’s etc. You start with more than 3 cups
of tomatoes before simmering them (so that after it cooks down you will
have enough) and then you use exactly 3 cups of the cooked tomato in the
jam. I started with 5 cups of chopped tomatoes then just used the little
    bit left with supper. Thanks!

  25. Thanks!
