Paleo Recipe: Sun Dried Tomato and Shrimp sauce on Zucchini Noodles

An amazing way to prepare zucchini noodles. Sauteed sun dried tomatoes, basil and olive oil with shrimp. Yummy!

Question by Reva P: I’m looking for a recipe where you make your own Bloody Mary’s using dried tomatoes, vodka, & etc.& bottle
You made these Bloody Mary’s, I can’t remember what all you used besides the dried tomatoes and then you put it back in the vodka bottles you used and then they have to sit for so long. I made them once and have lost my recipe.

Here’s the classic Bloody Mary recipe. Enjoy!

1 1/2 ounces (1 jigger) vodka
1/2 cup tomato juice
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
Worcestershire sauce to taste
Tabasco to taste
1 celery stick for garnish
1 lemon wedge for garnish

Combine the vodka, the tomato juice, the lemon juice, the Worcestershire sauce, the Tabasco, 1 cup ice cubes, and salt and pepper to taste, shake the mixture well, and strain it into a tall glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish the Bloody Mary with the celery stick and the lemon wedge.

  1. You are convinced that bodybuilding and fitness nutrition must be plain, boring and taste terrible…. I got this info from PaleoDiet.web44.net

  2. Hi, have you heard about “Belly Fat Quencher” (google it)? On their website you can watch a practical free video. This made it possible for Danielle to burn her belly fat. Hopefully it will help you as well.

  3. lmao, you two are hilarious

  4. When oils are heated past a certain temperature, they alter their structure and end up containing more trans-fatty acids (after being super heated). Most paleo folks would rather brave the few lectins in the milk protein that is in the butter than ingest a mg of trans fat. I hope that helps to clear things up. Butter can be rendered/clarified to ghee to remove the majority of milk proteins (though not all) and be less of an issue to those who are super sensitive.
    Cheers.

  5. (2 part answer) AAAAhhh, great question/comment. Yes, butter is dairy, yes dairy is bad. However, butter is MOSTLY fat, with few milk proteins compared to cheese. It is used often as it’s smoking point is higher for frying than many oils. Coconut oil and lard/bacon grease are probably the best for frying, however when it’s not available, or if you don’t dig that coconut flavour in your savory dish, and have no lard, butter is the next best option.

  6. I have a question: dairy is not included in paleo, but why is butter ok? it comes from dairy. I see a lot of paleo folks eat butter and I am not sure of the logic behind it. I have not tried paleo yet but am trying to find out more info about it.
