Question by Paul: How long does Campbell’s tomato soup cook?
I am trying to make Campbell’s tomato soup. Key word there is ‘trying.’ According to my family, it tastes watery when it is microwaved. I’m planning on making it with milk (also a family requirement) so how long would that cook on a stove?

Until it is heated though, because it already has been cooked.

  11. I made this tonight for dinner we all HATED the texture of the bread…I was hoping the bread would maintain a little bit of its hardness but it was super soggy BUT the sauce itself was DELICIOUS! I loved the roasted cherry tomatos i think they were extremely yummy…I’ll probably find a use for the sauce again just – the bread.

  19. I made this for my family along with toppings to add as they desired and grilled cheese wedges to dip in the soup. Toppings were several different veggies along with taco seasoned ground turkey. The family LOVED this so much they want me to make it again for the entire family on the next holiday. They said it tasted like a dish from an Italian restaurant!

  26. Hi–

Just cook it until it’s beginning to boil–just starting to bubble– since you are using milk. Milk scalds on pans easily and you don’t want to overcook because then it will taste slightly burnt! Depending upon a gas or electric stove, probably about 3-5 minutes should be good at medium heat. Gas heat may bring it to a boil quicker.

    Good luck!

  27. read the can it tells you how long to put in it for.
