Question by melody408: How much do tomato plants grow a week?
I’d like to know how many centimeters tomato plants grow a week. Or even better, every 3 days. Please don’t give answers like “they grow really fast” or”get ‘this’ tomato plant cuz it grows faster” I just want the measurements of how much they grow at this interval. 10 points for best answer! Thanks!
without fertilizer btw!

Too bad you didn’t do the experiment – about 10 centimetres a week if fertilized.

  1. you want to start with some …dirt ?

  2. From germination to grow up to 2 inches, having 4 leaves on the plant: 2 weeks.
From 2 inches grow to 10 inches: takes 2 weeks
From 10 inches grow to 2 feet: 2 more weeks
From 2 feet (already have lots of leaves and flowers and tiny fruit), grow 1 additional foot every 3 days.
From 5 feet: growing slow down and quickly to a halt. Now the plant has lots of fruit on it.
