Question by andradebrian1: What should I put into my omelette?
What do you think I should put into my omelet? I already have: egg, bacon, ham, green pepper, tomato, onion, chive? What else? Also, anything I should take out and what type of cheese? Also, add any advice, tips or websites that might help! Thanks!
Any instructions on how to best mix the ingredients?

  3. That Martin guy is a tool

  4. i think that omelette would taste good with either cheddar or swiss cheese. i wouldn’t put the tomato in because it might make it soggy.

  5. sour cream mmmm… also the bason is beset when its cooked really well done like its crspy. helps the flavor come out so much better

  6. Sounds like one hefty omelette.

I typically use cheddar cheese, ham, green pepper and onion. Sometimes too I mix in a dash of lowrys seansoned salt in to the egg when I am scrambling it.

  7. These are things that i use:

    Shredded potatoes
    Chopped red pepper
    Onions
    Cheddar Cheese
    Spinach
    Ham
    Bacon
    Green onions
    Broccoli
    Mushrooms

  8. rum

you should beat the eggs up and poor the eggs into a ziploc baggy. add your current ingredients and then DONT FORGET THE CHEESE!! try a shredded mexican cheese blend. take out the bacon it clashes with the other ingredients. wont taste right trrust me. DONT FORGET THE BUTTER AND SOME SALT AND PEPPER.
Next…. zip up your ziploc baggy and place into a pan of boiling water.
Boil for approximately 10-15 min. also cooked to your desire.
unzip the ziploc baggy and pour the omellette out onto a plate. it will be SOOO JUICY and have so much moisture you wont want to ever cook omelettes like the old pashioned way again. Also dont worry about the omelette sticking into the bag dont worry it will slid right out.

    YUM ENJOY!!

  9. sasuage and some cheddar cheese

  10. i like mushrooms in my omelettes.and i would use a colby/jack cheese mix.good luck!

  11. Go with good ole American cheese and make me one too!

  12. Ignore the woman who cooks her eggs in a Ziploc bag…the melting of the plastic seeps into your food and is toxic.

  13. I would leave the bacon and chives out and add Mexican 4 cheese blend for a southwestern style omelette. Or you can make a mushroom, ham, and swiss omelette which is my favorite. Just chop some fresh mushrooms and add to your eggs and ham and top with swiss cheese.
