Question by skytzo !: will crickets harm my tomato plants?
i noticed some crickets while i was planting my tomato plants and now they are having some problems .. just wanted to know if that was part of it … there are plenty of old roots around them for them to eat that are on my plants if that makes a difference

I have never heard of crickets harming any veggie , but sadly, I do not know everything.

  5. It isn’t likely that common crickets will eat your tomatoes. They prefer decayed plant material and fungi. Different species of Mole crickets will feed on grass, cereal grain and vegetable plant roots, however, so if that is what you have they certainly can cause tomato damage.
