you’ve got it all right there. toast bread smear pesto. small dice or slice motz and tomato.

Start with a really nice French baguette, lightly toast it in the oven at about 350 degrees for three or four minutes, a teaspoon of of pesto, a sprinkle of mozzarella, a slice of a roma tomatoe, heat until cheese is melted. Remove from oven and place an arugula leaf on each tomatoe. Very Yummy!

Lay them all flat on a cookie sheet…using a pastry brush, brush all slices with a good olive oil, then spread pesto, sliced sweet tomatoes (preferably Italian plum) and shredded mozzarella…in that order. Place under broiler and watch carefully…take out when mozzarella is bubbly.
