Question by emmiehemingway: On the “Rotten Tomatoes” movie site, are the red tomatoes a positive review & green, not good?
The reason I’m asking is that a co-worker recommended a movie that looks like only green tomatoes…not that movie critics/sites are always credible.

Yes. But sometimes good movies are misrated.

Even credible sites can have inaccurate reviews both in favor of the movie and against it. What I do is read reviews to learn more about the movie and if I would like to watch it, and I look for real reasons that the person feels the way they do, not just going along with public opinion or bashing an art movie. You may also want to ask your friend “Why do you recommend that movie?” In the end, you can only know if it is a good movie by watching it for yourself. You may have the minority opinion!
