  5. The canned tomatoes could be a higher quality, more tasty.
Or it can seem that way because you are more used to the taste of canned tomatoes used in various recipes.

  6. Canned tomatoes suck. They have all these other things added to them. If you want to cook something with tomatoes, buy fresh tomatoes from the produce section. It’s healthier, bigger, and fresher.

  7. Canned tomatoes have a consistency, flavor, and water content that you can count on. Fresh tomatoes do not. Skins make food bitter, too. You could have used fresh tomatoes if you had stewed them down first, or roasted them in the oven, to remove some of the water, and then they probably would not have made the soup taste like crap.

  8. Canned is formulated with many types of tomatoes they are spiced , canned and cooked.
One of my OLD girl friends claimed it took her 2 – 3 days to cook down raw tomatoes.Mostly to reduce the liquid.

  9. There may be somewhat of a difference but one is better than the other. Canned tomatoes are processed in factories and with all the preservatives they add and everything that actually takes away all the good stuff from the tomato. Like bleach wheat bread into white bread. Now with farm raised tomatoes the thing is that they don’t have preservatives but somewhat of something to keep them preserved and they are insecticides and pesticides. This is used to keep nasty thing away from the tomato. But the thing is that is why puberty is hitting such an alarming rate in countries. With all the chemicals added to them, you can’t tell which one is better, it is just based on opinion. The thing is I will go with farm raised tomatoes since they haven’t gone through as much as canned tomatoes. Take biology with a smart teacher, they’ll help you out.
